Warren Blanchard, a Brisbane Capital founding member, has over 30 years experience serving middle market companies. He is a Certified Public Accountant specializing in merger, acquisition and divestment transaction management. During his career in investment banking and public accounting he has managed over 40 M&A transactions, representing both buyers and sellers. Aggregate transaction values exceed $400 million.
In 1993 he formed SunCoast Capital Corp., a merger and acquisition consulting firm serving middle market companies. SunCoast managed merger and acquisition transactions representing both buyers and sellers in a variety of industries. Prior to forming SunCoast, Warren was Managing Partner of Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP) in West Palm Beach and a Partner in Miami and Tampa.
Warren's industry and transaction experience is diverse. His M&A transaction management involvement includes assisting clients with strategic assessments, development of comprehensive business information memorandums, identifying qualified target candidates (either buyers or sellers), developing valuation benchmarks, contacting target candidates, negotiations, deal structure, due-diligence and transitions. Acquisition experience (buyer representation) includes transactions generally ranging up to $10.0 million. Divestiture experience (seller representation) includes deals valued in excess of $150 million, with a focus on transactions in the $10 to $50 million range.
Warren enjoys serving as an instructor or lecturer at various professional accounting society programs and frequently makes presentations to business groups, including TEC, an international business roundtable for CEOs, on the subjects of Creating Shareholder Value, Mergers & Acquisitions and Business Valuations. He has been recognized for his M&A expertise through nomination and listing in TEC's Consultant Database. Warren has also been qualified and has testified in court as an expert witness on business valuation matters. Warren is a graduate of the University of South Florida. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Warren has been a director or advisor for various private company boards and currently is a director of Hospice of Palm Beach County.
