Managing Director

Warren Blanchard has many years experience serving middle market companies. He is an investment banker and a Certified Public Accountant focusing on merger, acquisition and divestment transaction management. During his career in investment banking and public accounting he has managed over 40 M&A transactions, representing both buyers and sellers. Aggregate transaction values exceed $400 million.

In 1993 he formed a merger and acquisition consulting firm to serve middle market companies. That company, now known as Brisbane Capital, has managed merger and acquisition transactions representing both buyers and sellers in a variety of industries. In 2004 Brisbane Capital formed a broker-dealer subsidiary, registered with FINRA and the SEC, which Warren owned until February 2010. Prior to 1993, Warren was Managing Partner of Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP) in West Palm Beach and a Partner in Miami and Tampa.

Warren's industry and transaction experience is diverse. His M&A transaction management involvement includes assisting clients with strategic assessments, development of comprehensive business information memorandums, identifying qualified target candidates (either buyers or sellers), developing valuation benchmarks, contacting target candidates, negotiations, deal structure, due-diligence and transitions. Acquisition experience (buyer representation) includes transactions generally ranging up to $10.0 million. Divestiture experience (seller representation) includes deals valued in excess of $150 million, with a focus on transactions in the $10 to $25 million range.

In addition to his public accounting and investment banking experience, Warren has corporate experience as a director and the CFO of a $125 million non-profit healthcare company.  After serving as a volunteer on the board of directors for several years, in 2005 Warren joined Spectrum Health, Inc. as Chief Financial Officer.  Affiliated companies include Hospice of Palm Beach County, one of the largest hospices in the country, a related foundation with over $75 million in assets, as well as a durable medical equipment company and other healthcare related business units.  While at Spectrum, Warren engineered a restructuring of the company’s information and financial reporting systems and oversaw the implementation of significant changes in corporate structure and governance.  In late 2009 Warren left Spectrum, he then joined Templeton & Company, a leading accounting and management advisory firm.  He will serve clients through Templeton while providing specific investment banking related services through Brisbane.

Warren speaks to professional accounting societies and business groups on issues related to creating shareholder value, mergers & acquisitions and business valuations. He has served as a director or advisor for a variety of private company boards.
