Client Characteristics

Our Specialty - Transactions In The $5 To $100 Million Range
We are a South Florida based M&A firm but our clients and projects are international in scope. We have represented sellers from Florida, Indiana, Illinois, Texas, California and Washington State. Our buyer transactions have included targets in North America, Europe and Latin America. The common thread is a quality management group that recognizes the value of bringing professional investment bankers to assist them in achieving their objectives. Other key characteristics from our perspective are as follows:

  • Buyers. Current size is not the most important criteria. In addition to the experience of existing management, we consider the potential for creating significant value by combining the company's current core competencies with a focused acquisition strategy. Brisbane Capital provides the M&A management.
  • Sellers. Generally our clients are businesses with a fair market value in excess of $10 million. The need for confidentiality is critical and potential buyers generally have far greater resources. Brisbane Capital creates a level playing field for our clients.
  • Access to Debt and Equity Capital. While size is not the most important criteria, clients seeking capital typically require in excess of $1 million. In addition to traditional financing sources, we focus on creative solutions including joint ventures and strategic alliances as methods to obtain the resources necessary for rapid growth.
  • Financial Advisory Clients. Typically these are growth stage companies seeking to create value, understand their current value, explore strategic options and prepare for future transactions. Some of these clients are below $5 million in value today but want to set a course that will allow them to exceed that benchmark. Others have a value objective in mind and want to begin planning for a future transaction to be ready when timing is right.
